MotionIcon UK & Europe have had a busy few weeks towards the end of lockdown. NatWest and Coutts Banks have installed some very important social distancing awareness campaigns on their escalators, coupled up with clear and precise branding with their corporate logos. It was a pleasure working with these prestigious brands, especially seeing as they are so focused on their staff and customer wellbeing. Well done to our dedicated team for rolling this out from Manchester to London.
Jackson Lifts also started taking the social distancing rules seriously, by having MotionIcon UK & Europe install safety graphics on their Lift doors at their head office. The government COVID-19 Risk assessment rules and guidelines clearly state that social distancing signage was key in all office environments, and certainly applied to Lifts and Escalators alike.
Lastly, Liverpool Street Station was the latest Network Rail station to have its escalators fully branded across the entire station. Passenger safety is paramount for Network Rail, and safety messages on the escalator risers directly in front of the commuters certainly helps to get this message across effectively. Recent test reports from Network Rail and Schindler show a definite decrease in escalator accidents on units with our safety signage displayed.
After a concerning lull during the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown period, Motion Icon UK and Europe’s team stepped up to the challenge of keeping our business going. The successful installations of social distancing messages, along with the continued support from Network Rail, have certainly kept us very busy. We would like to thank all our valued customers for trusting us with their vertical transport safety signage, and for their repeat business. We will ensure to keep all you well serviced, and continue to deliver at the highest level possible.
We wish everyone a safe and smooth transition out of lockdown, and a speedy recovery to normal business as soon as possible.
